I went on a Friday, in mid-August at around 1pm, with co-workers. The bar wasn’t crowded, so we easily slipped into a table. The $22-$25 price tag on the Prosecco & Ice Pop cocktail deterred my companions, but nothing could stop me from ordering one. My good friend’s roommate, from Colgate, showed me the infamous drink last October on Instagram, and I’d been waiting ever since to get my hands on one. Ice pop flavors vary on a monthly basis, but I got one with strawberry and some other berry infusion. It was one of the best drinks I have ever tasted, and my friends’ drinks were also delicious, so it’s somewhat worth the money. They have food on the menu, but we opted out on account of our student budgets. Surrounding us were groups of young women, dressed for happy hour in off-the-shoulder dresses and chokers, planning out their Instagrams. As the day progressed, the number of finance-bros increased (it is in FiDi to be fair), but none were cute or young enough to stay for, so we left at 5-ish. It took us forever to get the check, and we discussed just leaving at one point, but thankfully (for them) our server found us and we paid the tab.

If you’re ever in Downtown Manhattan I highly recommend grabbing a cocktail here; at least take a photo. This does not seem like a bar to meet new people, so come with friends, but keep in mind that they do not take reservations. If you’re broke, take the price with a grain of salt and know that it’s all worth it in the end.

Hours:
